The novel Ninja was written by Eric Van Lustbader in the initial stages of his career. Although, the writer had already penned a few books, such as the Sunset Warrior and Shallows of Night, but Ninja was the first thriller novel by Eric, which exhibited his talent, thought process, and the class of the author.
The first novel in the Ninja series was a plot hatched in Japan, and the story carries a detailed Nicholas Linnear’s life. The story catches more fire after Linnear’s cousin Saigo rapes Nicolas Linnear’s girlfriend. A violent relationship envelops between the two. Saigo became more adept at martial arts fighting, as he learnt Ninja.
Kaisho
Kaisho was written in 1993. It is one of the best novels to have been written in the Ninja series by the author Eric Van Lustbader. The story revolves around the promise of Linnear to his father that he would help out Mikio Okami, if he requires any help. Okami is a Kaisho; it means that Okami was associated with the underworld.
The story is a gruelling struggle of a man who is bent on sacrificing, and goes to any length to help out Kaisho.
Floating City
Eric Van Lustbader wrote Floating City, another thrilling novel from the Ninja series. The novel describes the courage and exploits of Linnear as he crosses each hurdle to fulfil his mission.
